We went Scampin‘ again! This time, we stayed close to home with an RV resort (yes, resort) and went without the kiddos. But as you can see from our review, we plan to go back with the whole family!
Twin Fountains RV Resort
Type of Spots

- Picnic table at each spot
- Family activities (miniature golf, splash pad, pool, fishing pond)
- Located near the Adventure District
- Game room
- On-site cafe and bar
- On-site salon and pet grooming
If you’re looking for a typical camping experience, where neighbors are out making friends, this isn’t really that place. However, it’s ideal if you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax. The staff was friendly, and even dropped off a welcome package complete with water bottles and a coupon for the cafe.
Our spot was right by the mini golf course (which we played, and I lost miserably). There is also a pool with a small splash area attached. Additionally, there’s a lounge area with table games and kids’ toys and games.
Not to mention… they make their own pizza. Delicious!
We spent the day at Frontier City, so we didn’t do too much at this park. But, we did try out our new Moka Pot (I’m fully aware of how hipster that sounds, and am equally embarrassed).
All in all, we fully understand why this place is called an rv resort. Basically, Twin Fountains RV Resort is a fancy hotel without the king bed.
And, we’re excited to return with the kids for swimming, more pizza, and a relaxing time!
On to our next adventure!
