In search of an oxymoron… the cute first aid kit I couldn’t live without

Disclaimer: We received one of these products at no cost. However, it is, indeed, the bees knees.

Bad mom confession:

Up until a month ago, I didn’t have a first aid kit in our home.

Sure, I had bandages, creams, and ice packs. But, if I had to tell you where they were… I could only guarantee the location of the ice packs. Everything else would be a wild goose chase.

Please tell me I’m not alone. Are/were you also a home devoid of a designated first aid kid?

Whether you’re like me, or a better prepared version of me, one thing is for sure—if there are kids in your home, having a first aid kit is essential.

Did you know more than 3.4 million children experience an unintentional household injury every year?

When we became foster parents, we were required to purchase a first aid kit. So, off we headed to—where else?—Target. I found that when it comes to first aid kits, there are plenty of options to choose from. But, none of them were cute.

I know what you’re thinking—there’s no such thing as a cute first aid kit.

Meet the Medibag from me4kidz.

This kit has everything I wanted:

  • Affordable ($12.99)
  • 117 first aid items
  • Child-friendly design that makes boo-boos not so scary

In fact, I’m such a fan that I now own another me4kidz product—the Mediaid First Aid & Wellness Kit.

This one is momma’s. I plan to take it on trips, keep it in my car, or bring it wherever else the unexpected may happen. Not only is it compact and stylish for an emergency medical aid, it includes 100+ items like:

  • Lavender essential oil
  • Peppermint essential oil
  • Instant cold pack
  • Gloves
  • And so much more

As if you need another reason to support this brand, me4kidz partners with non-profit organizations to employee people with various disabilities. Most of their products are put together by individuals with disabilities, and all products are made in the U.S.A.

Plus, this family-owned business donates products to educational fundraisers and children’s organizations to benefit those who can’t afford first aid products. And with a momtrepreneur at the helm, what’s not to love?

If you’re in the market for a first aid kit—whether you’re required to child proof your house, are looking for the perfect baby shower gift, or are a bit fear-stricken by the stats surrounding accidents—I can’t recommend this one enough.
