My son is two years old.
I had to practice saying it so many times leading up to his second birthday last week, and I’m just now able to say it without feeling sick to my stomach.
I know, I know. I’m being ridiculous. We want our babies to grow. We’re lucky to have them. But my goodness, does it have to be so fast?
This year, we wanted to throw Russell another birthday party. If you saw pictures of his woodland themed first birthday, rest assured that I didn’t go to the same extreme this year. Still, I love a good party.
And when it comes to things Russell loves, there’s a solid top three called the BBB. We’re talking:
Given this, we decided a book themed party would be perfect for the little guy’s entrance into the terrible twos.
Specifically, a Little Golden Book party.
We want to thank everyone who made it to the celebration. Your support (and unnecessary gifts) mean so much to our family! And a special shout-out to my mom, who is the actual Wonder Woman and helped organize this party, let me throw it at her house, came up with entertainment for the guests, and even made a special allergen-free cake for the birthday boy.
