Now that we have Evie, our 13′ foot Scamp, we’re looking for places to take the family camping. In doing so, I’ve noticed there aren’t a whole lot of resources for honest, detailed reviews about Oklahoma camping spots for families.
My goal is to fill that gap by providing details and ratings of the places we stay. We’re excited to start sharing our camping adventures, and we hope you’ll get out there and enjoy these Oklahoma camping spots, too!

We really enjoyed this camp spot! With a KOA, you expect a certain level of excellence—and they delivered! The people who run the grounds are sweet and friendly, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. From the evening train ride to the sparkling pool, it was a very fun property to stay with kids.
The boys loved sleeping for the first time in the camper (or as Russell calls it, “the kitchen house”). And as it turns out, two adults, two children, and a dog can fit into a 13 foot camper.
On to our next adventure!
