Adventure is out there

This weekend Tricia and Evan came down to help Heather and I with the craft-room-to-nursery conversion. It was hard work, but a lot of fun. We found out painting goes a lot faster with three people instead of two. Plus we had an awesome project manager (Heather) checking in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Check out our smooth work on the wall color (we picked a nice cozy yellow for the little boy’s room), and we also assembled a lovely crib for the room. A big thanks to Tricia and Evan for helping and bringing down the crib!

Even with all the work today the room is still unfinished, but here are a few sneak-peeks at what is to come. We’ve got the rug we posted about earlier, a cool globe, some old trucks my dad brought us (very cool!), and a sweet cloud light from IKEA. We have a lot more items to arrange and a few things to bring in, and we will make a big post all about it later on.

Heather is officially in the third trimester. We can’t believe time is moving so fast. To celebrate, we’re sharing the name of this very awesome (and very active) boy with all of you!
